    Description

    Hi,

We are a wee family of three: mum Tereza and two children Sol 9 and Inti 5. They are lovely and curious souls. After our homeschooling adventure we've joined the local Steiner school and kindy last year... The children spend one week with me and one week with their dad because of our shared childcare arrangement.

Last year we've managed to buy a section in the beautiful Motueka valley after selling our handcrafted TH that we built few years ago with amazing help of workawayers 🙏🏼

Now we live in a caravan on our own underdeveloped land and need some help with landscaping, gardening, building and all sorts of other DIY projects...

I'm designing an Earthen house at the moment... hoping to kick off the self-build pretty soon. So all sort of preparation and planning regarding the construction is under way too. Help on this is also welcome 🤗 always good to bounce some ideas around...and soonish we'll be building together :)

The plan is to have the foundation, framing and roof on by Spring 2026...and do the infill, plaster, earthen floors, some cob with bottles etc. over the following summer. So if you stay around the area you might get a chance to be part of all this process :)

We are happy to host easygoing, resourceful, environmentally conscious and friendly people connected to the earth...

You are welcome to become part of our family for a week or more, let's see what we have in common and what we can learn from each other. I am sure we can enrich ourselves while working together and having conversations over shared vegetarian meals. Also the earth building is such an awesome and inspiring activity in itself. Our location is a good base to explore surroundings, we are just 10 min from Motueka.

We can offer you a private accomodation in a sleepout/shed with shared bathroom & compost toilet. Not very luxurious 😅 but good vibes. Probably more suitable for one workawayer at the time or a snug couple.
